Whether you are on or off campus, library databases can be accessed in the same way: by clicking on a link from our website, typically our homepage, our AtoZ list or our Subject Guides.
When you use the links on the library website, you will either be taken directly to the database (if you are on campus) or you will need to login (using your Geneseo username and password) before you get to the database.
Creating a bookmark that works off campus
If you would like to bookmark a particular database for off campus use, find a link to that database on the library website. Then right click on the link and select "Bookmark Link."
This allows you to bookmark our internal link for the database, which includes authentication information. If you bookmark a database directly while at the site, you may not be able to access it later on.
