Q. Can I get help from a Reference Librarian?

Answer

Reference and Instruction Librarians are available to answer your research questions in a variety of ways.

Face-to-face:

  • You can schedule a one-on-one consultation with a subject specialist librarian. To do this, go to Research & Technology Consultations page by clicking the "Research Help" button on the left side of the Milne homepage. It is good to have in mind several days and times in which you are able to meet. It is also best to request the consultation 2 - 3 days before you would like to meet.
  • If your assignment is due sooner than the 2 - 3 days, you can stop by Milne Library's Service Desk or the Research Help Desk in the C.A.E. on the main floor of Milne Library for immediate help. There will be a Librarian in the Library during Research Help Hours. If there is a specific librarian you would like to work with, you can check Reference Calendar to see when they are working at the desk.
